"Andrea did a wonderful job designing an itinerary to suit three generations of diverse interests, and was flexible and responsive to last minute changes and requests. He showed us many hidden treasures of this beautiful region that would have missed we're it not for him."
- Heather on her journey in Italy
Example experience: Ermenegildo Zegna
Your exclusive tour begins with a trip to Zegna’s Global Store in Milan’s legendary Quadrilatero della Moda for a glimpse of the latest collection and an exclusive fitting in the Su Misura boutique. After a lunch of traditional cucina milanese, join your expert driver for the journey through the Piedmont hills to the charming sport and wellness hotel Albergo Bucaneve. In the hotel’s wellness center – with exclusive use upon request – you’ll be able to indulge in a wide range of treatments based on the healthful Höbe Pergh hay from the Asiago plateau and soak in the hot tub made from Nordic spruce that recently debuted on the panoramic terrace. For dinner, take a seat in the traditional wood-paneled dining room to enjoy a tasting menu featuring Executive Chef Giacomo Gallina’s take on traditional local delicacies and sample Piedmont’s finest DOC wines guided by the hotel’s resident sommelier.
After a restful night and the Bucaneve’s legendary breakfast, visit the nearby Smiling Forest for a unique glimpse of the woods Ermenegildo himself helped to reforest as part of his “green philosophy” and a powerful reminder of his belief that nature profoundly benefits our health and well-being. The tour continues to Trivero, the site of Zegna’s legendary Lanificio, for an exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to the Ufficio Stile, where the textiles team designs the fabrics for the Ermenegildo Zegna and Agnona collections. After a stroll through the Ermenegildo Zegna’s beautiful private gardens, visit the Sala Quadri with paintings depicting the art of wool by renowned painter Ettore Olivero Pistoletto (1948). In the 1930s villa and former family home Casa Zegna, you’ll have the rare opportunity to witness the company archives documenting over 100 years of the family’s business, creativity and charity. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Biellese Alps from the Lanificio rooftop, where the “Colored Weathervanes” installation created by Daniel Buren for Zegna’s All’Aperto public art project proudly stands. Established in 2008, this public art project invites contemporary artists of international renown to create site-specific pieces in and around Trivero that create a dialogue with the locals and their surroundings.
