Italian Flavours and a Whole Lotta Soul
Venture to sun-drenched Puglia, where cities are ancient, the olive oil without equal, the focaccia just out of the oven and soulfulness locally grown.
"Andrea did a wonderful job designing an itinerary to suit three generations of diverse interests, and was flexible and responsive to last minute changes and requests. He showed us many hidden treasures of this beautiful region that would have missed we're it not for him."

A possible, beautiful itinerary for you
A Taste of Puglia
Upon arrival at either Bari or Brindisi, head to your 5-star accommodations, faithful to the coastal features of Puglia, surrounded by centuries-old olive groves and with the warmth and candour of the Italian South. Taste some of the region's delicacies: the best olive oil, locally-grown vegetables cooked to perfection. The Pugliese live on a different rhythm, and they have taken cucina povera, poor people's cuisine, to divine heights.
Olive Oil & Ostuni
Travel to an ancient estate where the olive mill has been in use since the bronze age and provides a fascinating insight into olive oil production. Walk the beautiful grounds of the estate and, of course, enjoy some olive oil. Enjoy an exclusive picnic in the heart of the ancient olive grove. After lunch, continue to Ostuni, the famous Città Bianca or White City, a glimmering hilltop jewel with breathtaking sea views. For dinner this evening, enjoy some rustic cuisine at a nearby local restaurant. Read more
Mind-blowing Burrata & Trulli Houses
Discover Puglia’s famous Trulli houses. These cone-shaped dwellings are unique to the region. In the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Alberobello, you can see over 1,000 of these curious abodes. Your expert guide and local superstar will bring the history of this picturesque town to life. Next, go in search of the secrets of cheese-making in the ancient traditions of Puglia. You will meet local cheese artisan at his farm, where he will demonstrate the art of making fresh burrata and let you try twisting a knot of mozzarella or two! Enjoy a tasting lunch at the farm, followed by some leisure time at the hotel.
Visit a nearby Masseria that is rigorously organic and specialises in biodiversity and the cultivation of indigenous crops, fruits and vegetables that have died out in other areas. The passionate owner will demonstrate the use of his cherished produce in the local, traditional cuisine. This is a hands-on masterclass devoted to pasta and focaccia bread. Enjoy the pasta you have prepared yourself in a delicious lunch.
Set Sail on the Adriatic
There is no better way to enjoy the striking Adriatic coastline and balmy climate than out on the water. Travel to the port of Monopoli and embark on a fabulous Tall Ship and sail north towards the cliffs of Polignano a Mare. Known as the Amalfi of Puglia, this picturesque town hosts the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series and is dotted with dramatic sea caves hidden underneath the town. Take a swim and enjoy the views. Local refreshments will be served on board. After 3 hours at sea, return to the hotel for some downtime before tonight’s dinner, Polignano’s premier fish restaurant.
After a hearty breakfast within sight of the blue Adriatic, shuttle to the airport in your private vehicle for your onward journey. Puglia has a knack at changing lives, for the better!
