"Andrea did a wonderful job designing an itinerary to suit three generations of diverse interests, and was flexible and responsive to last minute changes and requests. He showed us many hidden treasures of this beautiful region that would have missed we're it not for him."

A possible, beautiful itinerary for you
Days Well Spent
It is early in the morning, and the subdued glimmer of dawn draws a line of light in the horizon. Sunrise in Sardinia’s east coast is a beautiful show. However, you turn west, to the Supramonte mountains. Your guide meets your outside the hotel and you wonder what secrets she will reveal today. If the last days serve as your guide, you will see a treasure of two before noon.
Today is your longest trek so far. You are tackling Gola di Gorropu, one of Europe’s deepest gorges. The karst landscape is rugged and very challenging. You are quite high up, and you begin to distinguish in the rocks the remains of the Nuraghe, the ancient inhabitants of Sardinia. Read more
From the heights, you reach secluded and pristine beaches. From precipitous descents you arrive at white sand beaches that are all the more pleasurable because getting there was quite a challenge. The fresh, emerald water washes away the sweat and the heat subsides. Precisely because you trekked here, it is so sweet.
Speaking from Experience
In both Oliena and Sta Maria Navarrese you are welcomed and regaled with wine, food, and hospitality. Sardinians are very proud of their cultural heritage and they love sharing their culture with travellers. After you enjoyed a long lunch, you decide there is still daylight and take to the road again. You trek into the wilderness, and the sweet-scented pine forests. The sun is in the west but you push on. There is a simple happiness that can only be found in the trails.
