   You head north towards Bern. It is a capital with a peculiar charm. After a day of discovery, you head south to Kandersteg. The charm of the alpine village is not lost upon you. In the morning, you enjoy valleys that have been dubbed a hiker’s paradise, with trails that wind into the forest, or caress the slopes of the mountains.
