Songs of Lava

Mount Yasur is capricious. It erupts and puts on quite a show. You feel the rumblings of the volcano beneath your feet. At first you feel a bit nervous, but your guides are reassuring. Actually, you are beginning to like it. Your room for the night is atop a tree-house overlooking the volcano. From your window you can see lava explosions. The Vaka is a Polynesian Sailing Boat. It is a traditional design, that has allowed local cultures to travel between the islands of the archipelago. You are sure they usually lack chocolate and red wine, but you welcome these modern touches nonetheless. During the night, the South Pacific sky is splattered with stars. During the day, the blue expanses are full of life. Swimming with the dugong, is an experience you will never forget.
