From Venezia you make your way north to the famous ski mecca of Cortina d’Ampezzo. You use this time to load on carbs and prepare for the run. Tomorrow you head to the mountainous valleys of the South Tyrol, where your adventure proper will begin.

The Alte Vie of the Dolomites are a network of trails that take you to breathtaking mountain hides, to the foot of towering granite peaks, and down to flowing meadows.
