Jaipur to Ramathra

Travel early in the morning to Amer, a small city sitting in the entrance to a gorge. Amer features a fort that has a dramatic layout and a unique blend of Rajput and Mughal elements. Continue east, to the greener Rajasthan, and check in to Ramathra Fort, where you will be staying for the night.

Karauli

Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, you are now in the true Rajasthan. Life here is simpler, and runs at a slower pace. Walk through the villages in the morning and learn of the local's way of life. There are many monuments in the vicinity and natural wonders abound. In the afternoon, head out to the lake for a bird-watching session and discover the vastness of India’s biodiversity.

Deep into Rural Rajasthan
