Arrival in Delhi
Everyone has tried to leave their mark on Delhi: rulers, emperors and kings. More often than not, it is the city that leaves a mark on its visitors. For centuries, it has been a source of unimaginable treasure and wealth, a source of wisdom and inspiration, and a fitting place to begin your monumental adventure through India’s Golden Triangle. Upon arrival, you are met by your guide and transfer to a luxury hotel that captures what Delhi does best: blend the old with the new.
Delhi to Udaipur
Udaipur, the white city, city of lakes. It has been dubbed by some the Venice of the East. It is a cosmopolitan city that, unlike Delhi, has a more mellow, lush rhythm. As the sun begins to turn, enjoy a sunset cruise in Lake Pichola, including a visit to the palace of Jag Mandir, built on an island amid the lake. Settle in for the night in a fantasy palace in the middle of the lake. A pleasure palace for Maharajas, it is a marble island, a vision of beauty, and yours for the next few days. Read more
Full Day Udaipur, Splendour of Rajasthan
Start early in and visit the City Palace, a luxurious complex once home to Mawar rulers. From the palace, head out to the streets of Udaipur and explore its markets and bazaars. Get a respite from the bustle in Jagdish Temple, a monument of Hinduism. Walk in the city's gardens and enjoy cultural shows in the evening, full of colour, movement and light.
From Udaipur to Bera
Drive to Bera, a small town set in the Aravalli Hills featuring some of the most dramatic and breathtaking landscapes in Rajasthan. The large population of leopards is a prize for photographers. The many caves and crags provide a perfect habitat for this spotted feline. Your luxury camp will be an experience in of itself.
Enjoy a full-day safari where you will track leaps and discover other wildlife in the Aravalli Range, including the rarely seen Indian Wolf, Sloth Bear, and Antelope.
Bera to Jodhpur
Travel to the Blue City, gate to the Thar Desert. Tour this mysterious city and enjoy sunset in the towering Mehrangarh Fort, a massive structure that overlooks the city.
Before flying to Delhi to catch your international flight, capture the magic and colour of Jodhpur in a photographic tour with a guide that will reveal the best angles and lead you through the narrow streets to uncover the city’s secrets that the locals usually keep to themselves.
