Java is famous for its unique ancient historical heritage, material, and aesthetic beauty. Lesser known to visitors is a secretive world of authentic living dharma spirituality and traditional medicine.

Anthropologist PATRICK VANHOEBROUCK will share his own spiritual journey and offer a glimpse to the rich variety of beliefs, concepts and eventually material manifestations of so-called traditional Javanese culture through the lens of Traditional Healing and Javanese Mysticism.

Patrick is a specialist on Javanese Culture, History, Literature and Spirituality having spent many years living and researching contemporary Javanese culture in Java.
